Growing up in North Carolina, Ted Reedy created music ever since he could reach the piano keys. When he wasn’t at the keyboard, he was watching movies, playing video games, or building computers. Eventually these passions evolved into a singular focus.
Previously working alongside mentors Heitor Pereira at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions, and Emmy award-winning Trevor Morris, Ted has written music for a diverse range of film, television, and interactive media titles. His style combines “the human element” from solo musicians and orchestras, with “the electronic element” from modular synthesizers and analog circuitry, to form a fusion of man and machine, a synergy of energy and emotion.
Ted currently works out of his studio in Los Angeles’ Arts District, and is thankful each day that he is able to combine music and technology to create art and entertainment for audiences around the world to enjoy.
